LAS to issue 35m shares to raise capital

HÀ NỘI — Lâm Thao Fertilizers and Chemicals JSC (LAS) will soon issue more than  三 五 million shares as a bonus to its existing shareholders.

After the issuance, LAS’ charter capital will increase from VNĐ 七 七 八 billion to VNĐ 一. 一 三 trillion, corresponding to  一 一 二. 八 million shares on the Hà Nội Stock Exchange

Based in the northern province of Phu Tho since  一 九 六 二, LAS produces fertiliser and other chemical products to serve the northern market. Currently, the State-run Việt Nam National Chemical Group with nearly  七0 per cent of the stake is the firm’s largest shareholder.

In  二0 一 六, LAS planned a sale of VNĐ 四. 七 trillion and a profit after tax of VNĐ 四 三 六 billion as well as a  一 五 per cent dividend. — VNS
